Mr. StealYourGirl

Even when he's dirty, he's still pretty

Oh Remi. The "perfect" little unicorn. This boy came to us from Texas in the Spring of 2010. He arrived in a tiny crate with spilled water and messy food bits strewn about. If I remember correctly he was quite silent, all be it dissatisfied with his wetness and dirtiness. The silence didn't last too long. For the next several days, he followed me around squawking.

Rem Dog hates to be touched but loves to snuggle in the bed. He's the strangest dog I've ever had the pleasure of training. People love him. He has one blue eye and one brown eye. Everywhere we go we are stopped and people ask to pet or touch him. This is unfortunately almost impossible, especially if they really try. Only when he's being ignored will he attempt to make smelling contact.

He's surprisingly rugged for how pretty and small he is. As he's grown up, he's always been a protector of little Milo. He is fearless when it comes to strange dogs and loves exploring as much as he loves laying in his chair in the living room.

One of my favorite memories of Remi protecting Milo is at our local dog park. It was winter time and we were messing around with some of the agility equipment that they have lying around there.

Milo seems to be very interesting to large dogs, specifically hunting or working breeds. In this case it was a German Shepard.

Loved his Big Bro since day 1

As Milo and Remi are running the tunnel the German Shepard noticed them popping out the end and came running over full speed. Milo was standing by my feet but the Shepard didn't seem to notice me. But when he was about 5 feet away, Remi came out of nowhere and stood up on his hind legs right in the path of this German Shepard! The German Shepard slammed on the brakes, trying to avoid Remi. This totally distracted the German Shepard from Milo.

He embodies the ultimate lap dog. He crosses his paws when he lays down. He doesn't fetch. He plays like a cat! Drag around a tug rope and he's into it. Throw a ball and he'll look straight through you.

Even when he was growing in his adult coat, he knew he was stunning!
