All Hallows' Eve

The witching hour is upon us and I am excited! This is my favorite time of year. Candy, spooky decorations, creative costumes, and spending time with friends and family!

We have a packed week. Friday night we hosted pumpkin carving at our house. I made a Jack O Lantern face and Jess made the Octo! She's very creative and did it all by hand, pretty impressive that one is! ;)

Before the carving began, I was able to take advantage of the beautiful evening weather. I took the motorcycle out around Lake Minnetonka. The water was calm and picturesque, boats cruising around, getting their last ride in before the cold takes them from the water.

Then Saturday night we attended a coworkers Halloween party. It was very cool. They literally have created a haunted house inside of their home. It was packed with creepy and spooky stuff from the front yard where a empty coffin in a cemetery scene to the bathroom where a massacre appears to have taken place! It was staged so well, I'm pretty jealous we didn't have time to decorate our home.

Sunday night we are attending a birthday party dinner after spending the day recovering from the party and doing some much needed grocery shopping.

Monday is Halloween. There's a happy hour and trick or treaters! We get the usual little kids from the neighborhood and some we don't recognize.

Tuesday is my birthday.

For my birthday I plan on taking my beast on a nice long hike! We're going to drive out to Frontenac State Park and walk the Bluff trails there.
